Thai government recently has introduced Startup Promotion and Act (the “Draft Act”), designed to modernize corporate and fundraising rules, enhance access to finance and expertise, and centralize promotion under the National Innovation Agency (the “NIA”).The goal is to create a more competitive and innovation-led economy, where Thai startups can attract investment and scale internationally.

On 2 December 2025, the Thai Cabinet approved the Climate Change Bill, which aims to establish a national climate change policy committee, collect carbon taxes, and treat carbon credits as transferable assets.
